High Pressure Isn’t Always the Solution

We get it. Your process and oily water sewers back up.  The standard operating procedure has always been that you run a high pressure jetter to clear out obstructions. That’s how it’s done.  You have some flooding or ponding and the solution is to “run a jetter” through to get the water to drain.  Pipes backed up again, run a jet. You have poor flow, run a jet. Over, and over, and sometimes that gets things back working. But is it really solving your problem(s)?

Most of the time, the answer is no.

Instead of jumping into “high pressure jetting” we recommend starting with what we call ‘Phase Zero’.  We know that understanding the situation, the tribal knowledge,  the plant and the piping produces a true solution.  Motivo utilizes a multi-phased approach that will solve your problem at the lowest cost with the least impact.

Phase Zero – We dive into your problem, look at past treatments, review drawings, interview staff, perform a visual inspection of pipe access locations, and, in detail, provide you with the exact approach to solve the problems you have.

Phase One – Our certified staff synchronizes pipe cleaning and remote visual inspection and actually videos/photographs the inside of your pipes… seeing is believing. Not only that, but once the data is collected we analyze and prioritize the next steps to remedy the problem.

Phase Two – This involves maintenance remediation, heavy hardened material cleaning and large debris removal. We source the correct methods based on your specific needs.  We do it “On the run…” no need to shut your system down.  This can include GPS geolocation and plant mapping with x, y and z accuracies down to the inch.

Phase Three – If needed, structural remediation will take place. This could involve CIP (Cured in Place), SIP (Spray in Place), or point repair and remote sinkhole remediation solutions to get your systems back to work.

Phase Four – The last piece of the puzzle is to provide you with a Risk Based Assessment and Prioritization(RBAP) report. Our team creates a detailed plan to keep your pipes flowing and your plant safe. This report will provide you with the necessary information to make impactful decisions for long-term solutions.

We are not a cleaning company but we know how to “truly” clean as part of overall restoration. With our proven Phase Zero approach, we help our clients take the first step to get up and running faster, with less impact and with more cost savings over traditional methods.
